FIAT CEO Sergio Marchione crashes Ferrari 599 GTB
FIAT’s CEO, Sergio Marchione, was involved in an accident on the Swiss A1 Highway, somewhere near Basel, on last Friday. According to local swiss newspapers, Marchione was traveling at about 60 mph (100 km/h) when a Renault, which was in front of him, suddenly slowed down. However, the crash was not that hard, but when the Ferrari hit the Renault, the airbags went off, so Marchione couldn’t see anything and he drove right into the protective barriers. Both Marchione and the Renault driver were escaped unhurt from the accident. We can’t say the same thing about the Ferrari, which ended pretty messed up and is probably heading straight to the scrapyard. Sergio Marchione probably isn't upset about 189.000 EUR worth wreck!
